Once More a Sacred Being

In 1968, at age 28, I go to be with the Navajo.

I intend to stay two years.

Born into a cross-cultural family, foreign exchange student in Europe, advanced degrees from Stanford University,
I study southwest culture before coming. But I am unprepared for being with the Navajo.

I stay eight years.
